5.      Besides teaching, I had a short trial in Real Estate, ten years as administrative assistant for TPAC-FRIENDS, five as an executive assistant to the president at TPAC and until retirement, administrative assistant in the Retina Division of the Vanderbilt Eye Institute and coordinator of the Retina Fellowship Program.

6.      Volunteer work has included VWC president, recording secretary, membership, hospitality, Magnolia News founder and editor, VUMC Auxiliary, Cumberland Museum, Ensworth Second Season, MBA’s Spaghetti Supper ticket sales, English-Speaking Union board, The Churchill Society of Tennessee, and chair of the Cheekwood Bridge Marathon.
