Dr. Lydia Villa-Komaroff
Molecular biologist, executive, and diversity advocate
After a successful career as a Professor in molecular biology research and later serving as Vice President of research at Northwestern and Whitebridge Institute, Dr. Villa-Komaroff is now a consultant and speaker.
She founded Intersections SBD (Science, Business, Diversity) and is also a founding member of the Society for the Advancement of Chicanos/Hispanics and Native Americans in Science (SACNAS). Her storied career will be a message for all to see!
Also, new this year to the Symposium, Dr. Villa-Komaroff will give a general audience lecture on April 8th at 6pm at the Wond'ry.
