Correcting Brain Shift for Image-Guided Neurosurgery

This project is concerned with correcting intraoperative deformation for image-guided neurosurgical applications.  Current approaches use laser range scanners, porous media finite element models, image processing, and optical tracking technology to measure, process, and correct guidance displays within the operating room.
