Cleanroom Staff: Research Assistant Professor

CLEANROOM STAFF: RESEARCH ASSISTANT PROFESSOR
The Vanderbilt Institute of Nanoscale Science and Engineering (VINSE, http://www.vanderbilt.edu/vinse/) seeks to hire additional cleanroom staff as we open our new 14,000 sq. ft. core facilities in the new Engineering and Science Building (ESB) pictured below.  A Ph.D. and expertise in one or more of the following areas is desired: RIE, ALD, MOCVD, and XPS.  VINSE staff are expected to enable the Institute to excel in our complete mission of discovery, education, outreach, and innovation.  New staff will be actively involved in the development and implementation of standard processes in the cleanroom, provide users with training and support for processes and equipment in the cleanroom, support VINSE course-related activities including significant interaction with undergraduate and graduate students, and ensure the facility complies with all general health and safety standards.
