Research:

Our group study materials in the context of energy systems with applications to sustainable food, energy, and water systems. Fundamentally, we are motivated to understand materials in non-equilbrium forms and we utilize suite of synchrotron x-ray techniques to understand these systems. We also look at solution processed material synthesis of low dimensional materials and materials processing challenges related to scalable manufacturing.

Awards:

• NSF Career Award
• Scialog Fellow at RSCA
• ITRI-Rosenfeld Postdoctoral Fellow at Berkeley Lab
