Vanderbilt\u202fUniversity is\u202fhosting the\u202fClinton\u202fGlobal Initiative University<\/a>\u202f(CGIU<\/strong>)\u00a0annual meeting March 3-5, 2023<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

CGIU recruits a student cohort of young\u202fleaders who are committed to developing innovative solutions to the world’s most pressing challenges.\u202fEach year, undergraduate and graduate students from around the world apply to\u202fparticipate in CGI U’s year-round community of learning, leadership\u202fand action. The program\u2019s year-round engagement\u202fmodel includes a social impact curriculum, training and\u202fmentorship opportunities and a wide range of networking opportunities with CGIU partners, peers, alumni, staff and leaders in the field.\u202fPresident Bill Clinton founded CGI U in 2007, and more than\u202f11,800 students from\u202fover 1,800 schools, over 160 countries and all 50 states have\u202fparticipated.<\/p>\n

Applications are open now<\/strong><\/a>, and the deadline to apply is Friday, December 16<\/strong>. Students pursuing a bachelor\u2019s, master\u2019s or doctoral degree at the time of application are eligible to apply, and student teams of three or fewer are also welcome.\u00a0\u00a0There are a few info sessions<\/strong> scheduled to provide an overview of the application process including one Wednesday, November 16 from 11am-12pm<\/u><\/strong> on Zoom being coordinated by The Office of Experiential Learning & Immersion Vanderbilt (EL&IV): https:\/\/amplifyvu.vanderbilt.edu\/s\/immersionhub\/events\/detail\/160825<\/a>.<\/p>\n
