☁️ Cloud Computing with the VU Digital Lab | Feb 27 1:30-2:30pm
C^3 (Cloud Computing Community)
The Digital Lab will host a Cloud Computing Learning Community to provide a collaborative space for faculty, staff, and students who are interested in exploring cloud-based tools and technologies. Cloud computing makes it easier to create and manage digital projects, such as analyzing large data sets, designing interactive websites, creating digital archives, automating text transcription and translation, or using AI tools in innovative ways. The first meeting will be Thursday, February 27th, from 1:30-2:30pm in the Digital Lab space. If you are interested in the community, even if you cannot make the first meeting, please fill out this form.
Our sessions will introduce practical applications of cloud technology, such as automating tasks with AWS Lambda, hosting websites, and integrating AI models. Whether you’re completely new to cloud computing or already have some experience, this group supports ongoing learning, discussion, and hands-on practice to make projects that are faster, more secure, and easier to manage as they grow.
Each session will be interactive and flexible, allowing you to join discussions and hands-on activities at your own pace. Whether you want to build new skills, get advice on a current project, or just explore how cloud technology can be useful in your field, you’re welcome to participate in any session that fits your schedule. Looking forward to seeing you there!
