Scheduling SCC Appointments

If you have not visited the UCC in the last 6 months or you are a new client, you must first schedule an appointment with Student Care Coordination (SCC).

Please Note: If you are scheduling your first appointment with Student Care Coordination, please complete the SCC Intake Form.

1. Select Appt. Scheduling and select Schedule Appt.

2. Choose the SCC Initial Appointment option, and choose a date range to search available appointment slots. You are only able to see up to 14 days during a single search, so you may need to try a few different date ranges to find the appointment that best works for you.

3. Select your appointment; make sure to confirm your appointment date, time, & provider when prompted.

Please Note: Student Care Coordination is located in Rand Hall, Suite 305.

Scheduling UCC Appointments

1. Select Appt. Scheduling and select Schedule Appt.

2. Choose the appropriate appointment type option, individual therapy, psychiatric medication follow up, or mind body lab session, and choose a date range to search the available appointments slots. You are only able to see up to 14 days during a single search, so you may need to try a few different date ranges to find the appointment that best works for you.

3. Select your appointment; make sure to confirm your appointment date, time, & provider when prompted. Please Note: The University Counseling Center is located at 2015 Terrace Place.

Scheduling an Urgent Care Appointment (Same-day Appointments)

1. Same-day Urgent Care appointments can only be scheduled for and on the current day. 

2. To check appointment availability, please set both the To and From date range to the current day.

3. Please Note: Urgent Care scheduling on the portal will only show available appointment times that are 30 minutes or more in advance. 

Viewing Appointments

1. Select Appt. Scheduling and select View Appts.

2. To view your previous appointments, select the Previous tab. To view future appointments, select Upcoming.

Canceling Appointments

1. Select Appt. Scheduling and select View Appts.

2. To cancel your appointment, click the cancel option under the cancel column. A box will appear asking you to confirm your cancellation.

3. You may not cancel an appointment on the portal if it is within 8 hours of your appointment. You will need to call the front desk at (615) 322-2571 if your appointment is within 8 hours.

Form Completion

Depending on your appointment type, you may be asked to complete forms on the portal.

1. Select the tab at the top of the page titled My Forms.

2. Your outstanding forms will be viewable for you to complete.

Secure Messages

To contact your UCC provider via secure message, please complete the following steps:

1. Select Messages, and click the New Message option.

2. Please choose the name of your provider, add a title to your message, and add the contents of your message. Once you have completed your message, please click the Send Message button at the bottom of the page.

3. To view previous messages you have sent, or to view messages your provider has sent to you, please click the Messages tab, and choose the View Messages option.

4. Secure messages are only reviewed during business hours (Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm).

  • Appointment Scheduling
    • Schedule follow-up appointments for individual therapy, psychiatric medication follow-up, and several other in-person and telehealth appointments
    • View previous and upcoming appointments
    • Cancel appointments, as long as it is more than 8 hours in advance
  • Complete Forms
    • Depending on the type of appointment, you may have forms to complete. These forms will be visible in the My Forms tab.
    • Completing forms in advance will allow you to check in at the UCC more quickly.
  • Secure Messages
    • If you have a question for your provider, you can send them secure messages in the Messages tab.
    • Secure messages are only reviewed during business hours (Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm).
    • If you are experiencing an emergency, please call 911.
