Getting around campus made easier
Once you arrive, Vanderbilt offers transportation and mobility resources to help you move across campus safely and efficiently. Explore shuttle services, accessibility resources, maps and transportation options that support getting to classrooms, offices, parking areas and campus destinations.
VandyRide Shuttle Service
Beginning in fall 2026, VandyRide will expand shuttle service to support the parking system and improve mobility across campus.
Multiple daytime shuttles will operate across two routes, helping connect parking areas, offices, academic buildings and key campus destinations throughout the day.
VandyRide daytime shuttle service is available to the Vanderbilt community, including faculty, staff and postdoctoral scholars and is designed to make moving around campus easier without needing to relocate your vehicle.

Evening VandyRide service will continue to operate as part of Vanderbilt’s transportation system.
VandyRide provides convenient evening transportation for Vanderbilt students, faculty and staff during hours when the university is in session.
To support rider safety and service efficiency, pickup and drop-off occur at designated shuttle stops only.

Track VandyRide in Real Time
Use Passio GO to view VandyRide routes, shuttle locations, stop information and estimated arrival times in real time.
Access the Vanderbilt Passio GO web tracker or download the free Passio GO app from the Apple App Store or Google Play. After opening the app, select Vanderbilt University to view available daytime and evening routes.
Mobility & Accessibility Services
Vanderbilt is expanding mobility services to support the new system and improve access across campus. These updates are designed to make it easier to move between parking areas, offices, academic buildings and key destinations.
Mobility Rides
Mobility Rides provides accessible transportation across campus for students, faculty and staff with approved medical or accessibility needs.
Service is available through electric carts and ADA-accessible vehicles to support travel between campus destinations.
Students requiring medical or accessibility assistance must register for Mobility Rides through the Student Access Office.
- To access pre-approved rides, contact Student Access via the online portal or at (615) 343-9727;
- Pregnant students with accessibility needs should register and receive approval from the Title IX Office. Submit the Pregnancy Accommodation Request Form through the Title IX Office’s website or contact them at 615-343-9004 or TitleIX@Vanderbilt.edu for inquiries regarding accommodations.
Faculty and staff seeking medical or accessibility assistance should register and obtain approval through the Equal Opportunity and Access Office.

Accessibility Services
Vanderbilt offers additional transportation and accessibility resources to support movement across campus, including:

- VandyRide ADA support
- Vanderbilt University Public Safety escorts
- WeGo Access paratransit services for eligible riders
Event organizers hosting visitors with mobility needs should plan transportation accommodations in advance, as Mobility Rides are not available for campus visitors.
Moving around campus
Walking
Walking routes throughout campus offer opportunities to recharge, connect with colleagues or simply enjoy a change of pace between destinations. Whether commuting on foot or taking a short break during the day, Vanderbilt’s pedestrian-friendly campus makes walking an easy option for many trips.
Biking & Scooters
Biking and scooters offer a flexible transportation option for getting to and around Vanderbilt.
Commercial scooter riding and parking are restricted in many campus locations. Riders should follow university guidance, park responsibly and remain aware of pedestrian activity and campus safety expectations.
