Chestnut Shuttle

CHESTNUT ROUTE (Monday-Friday)

The primary function of this route is to transport VUMC contractors (Construction, and CPS) as well as any VUMC employee that requests to park in Lot 127 (Chestnut Street). It makes stops to and from Lot 127 on Chestnut Street (across from Greer Stadium) to the MRB III Loading Dock (21st at Edgehill). This route utilizes (2) 52 passenger Blue Bird buses and (2) 14 passenger vans. The average daily rider ship on this route is 625 employees.

Peak Hours of Operations are based on staff transition times and are typically:

Monday - Friday 5am - 9pm

5am - 6am Every 30 minutes

6am - 6pm Every 15 minutes

6pm - 9pm Every 30 minutes

All full-time Vanderbilt employees may ride the MTA by swiping their ID

MTA Route 25 operates from 8th and Chestnut and 21st and Edgehill various times during the day.

Kensington Garage Permit Holders

Prior to parking in the garage you must enter your vehicle infromation in the Metropolis parking system. You will receive an email from no-reply@billing.metropolis.io. Please open the email and enter all required information. After you have entered all information you will be good to go. Prior to receiving this email please park your vehicle in Lot 72E or Lot 72D. If you enter the Kensington Garage prior to registering in the Metropolis system you are responsible for paying the daily parking fees.
