America Recycles Day is November 15th
November 15th is America Recycles Day! Celebrate by snapping a selfie while you recycle now until November 20th, then tag it with #RecyclingSelfie on Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, or Instagram for a chance to receive a prize! Join us in pledging online to recycle more. Sign up with your Vanderbilt email address to pledge to:
- Learn- I will find out what materials are collected for recycling in my community at americarecyclesday.org;
- Act- Reduce my personal waste by recycling. Within the next month, I will recycle more, and
- Share- In the next month, I will encourage one family member or one friend to take the pledge.
America Recycles Day is a national program of Keep America Beautiful, and is the only nationally recognized day and community-driven awareness event dedicated to promoting and celebrating recycling in the U.S. For more information on Vanderbilt’s recycling programs, visit the SustainVU website.
