Why did you choose to attend Vanderbilt?

I chose to attend Vanderbilt because of the combination of great opportunities both academically and athletically. Also, the culture of the cross country team was a huge draw.

What are your career goals?

My career goals are to go into Civil/Environmental Engineering consulting and focus on renewable energy projects.

What does it take to be academically successful at Vanderbilt?

All it takes to be successful at Vanderbilt academically is discipline and a desire to succeed. As long as you show up to class, do your assignments, and reach out to professors for help if you are struggling, you will always be able to find a path to success.

How do you manage your demanding schedule?

Efficiency and time management are the two biggest assets to managing a demanding schedule.

What is your ritual before taking a test?

I eat three honey stingers before every test.

Who do you consider to be an unsung hero in your academic success at Vanderbilt? And Why?

Nate is definitely my unsung hero academically. He does a ton to help us succeed and the schedules he puts together at the beginning of every semester with every due date is super helpful.
