Why did you choose to attend Vanderbilt?

I chose to attend Vanderbilt because it had everything I was looking for, including both a great athletic and academic environment. On my official visit, I immediately connected with the team and felt as if Vanderbilt was a place I would always be able to call home.

What are your career goals?

A career in the field of medicine.

What does it take to be academically successful at Vanderbilt?

Staying organized and keeping track of my assignments has been key. Communicating with professors and seeing them outside of class has also been really important.

How do you manage your demanding schedule?

I like to keep a schedule so I can remember big assignments, due dates, or meetings. I also like to think about my upcoming week ahead of time and try to work ahead, especially if we are traveling.

What is your ritual before taking a test?

I make sure to get plenty of sleep the night before the test, and I try to avoid cramming at the last minute.
