Why did you choose to attend Vanderbilt?

I wanted the opportunity to have the best of both worlds in my college experience, academics AND athletics. I wanted to compete with some of the best across the nation on both the field and in the classroom.

What are your career goals?

I hope to one day pursue a career in healthcare administration. My dream job is to become a hospital CEO.

What does it take to be academically successful at Vanderbilt?

It takes extreme discipline. Having the determination and focus to do things even when you don’t feel like doing them.

How do you manage your demanding schedule?

I always keep some type of calendar and/or planner close by. It helps me to not only organize but also visualize my schedule so that it becomes easier to manage.

What is your ritual before taking a test?

A good night’s sleep and a BIG delicious breakfast the morning of the test! Sometimes I might also whisper a prayer right before the test begins.
