Why did you choose to attend Vanderbilt?

Vanderbilt had always been a dream of mine for college ever since I was in middle school. I always felt like it had the perfect mix of academic excellence, athletic excellence, and a well-rounded student body. Nashville is also such a fun city to live in and made Vanderbilt a no-brainer.

What are your career goals?

My career goals currently are to enter the consulting industry or pursue a MBA.

What does it take to be academically successful at Vanderbilt?

I think I started to have my best success academically when I mastered my time management skills. It also helps to keep studying/homework within the hours of 9am-5pm and destress outside of those hours.

How do you manage your demanding schedule?

Similar to my answer above, I just stay incredibly disciplined with my schedule and try to keep my schoolwork as if I was doing a 9-5 job.

What is your ritual before taking a test?

My ritual before taking a test is to not look at any material within an hour of taking the test. Usually I take that hour to get some good food and decompress before the exam.
