Why did you choose to attend Vanderbilt?

I wanted to challenge myself mentally and physically.

What are your career goals?

Continue playing baseball and then get involved in trying to get baseball into the inner-cities. In an effort to get more African Americans in baseball, after I stop playing.

What does it take to be academically successful at Vanderbilt?

Good time management is important and getting ahead so you don’t feel overwhelmed with work.

How do you manage your demanding schedule?

Get ahead and try and stay ahead.

What is your ritual before taking a test?

Got to have my favorite pen.
