Why did you choose to attend Vanderbilt?

I chose to attend Vanderbilt University because coming out of high school I wanted to run in the most competitive conference while also getting a top-tier education. Vanderbilt provides me with both.

What are your career goals?

I am still undecided on what I want to do after I graduate; however, I am leaning towards marketing.

What does it take to be academically successful at Vanderbilt?

Good study habits, great time management, and a lot of determination.

How do you manage your demanding schedule?

As a student-athlete you must be very selfish with your time if you are looking to succeed in the classroom, as well as in your respective sport. I make sure to not spread myself too thin with other outside commitments. It is important to focus on what is most important to you during the few years you have at college.

What is your ritual before taking a test?

Right before taking a test I review all of my notecards while having a snack… if you’re hungry during a test you’re less likely to be focused on what you have to answer in front of you.

What is your favorite quote?

“You miss 100 percent of the shots you never take.”- Wayne Gretzky
