Why did you choose to attend Vanderbilt?

It was a great opportunity for school and to play football. It’s also close to home and in a top city for medical professions.

What are your career goals?

Medical Officer for the United States Navy

What does it take to be academically successful at Vanderbilt?

A lot of sacrifice and time management.

How do you manage your demanding schedule?

Plan everything out into compartments. For time you’ve planned for sports, do sports. For academics, do academics. Be actively present wherever you are.

What is your ritual before taking a test?

Use my notes to make flashcards in my own words and then go over the flashcards.

What is your favorite quote?

“A true soldier fights not because he hates what is in front of him, but because he loves what is behind him.” -G.K. Chesterton
