Why did you choose to attend Vanderbilt?
I chose Vanderbilt because this university offered both an exceptional level of academics as well as athletics. Because of my musical background, I wanted to experience living in Music City and surround myself with talented musicians.

What are your career goals?
I plan on turning professional in June, and competing in Qualifying school for the LPGA tour in August-December.

What does it take to be academically successful at Vanderbilt?
It takes self-discipline in order to become academically successful at Vanderbilt. Being an athlete requires prioritizing our schedules in the dedication and management of our time.

How do you manage your demanding schedule?
I focus on making sure that my grades are where they should be, allowing me to perform my sport at my maximum potential.

What is your ritual before taking a test?
No ritual. The only thing I can think of is my and Kate Sborov’s motto, “Dress well. Test well.”

What is your favorite quote?
“You can fail at what you don’t want, so you might as well take a chance on doing what you love.” – Jim Carrey
