Why did you choose to attend Vanderbilt?
I visited Vanderbilt when I was a freshman in high school and fell in love with Nashville. Ultimately, I chose Vanderbilt because it had everything I wanted in a college. I love my team and all that the school offers academically.

What are your career goals?
I hope to get my masters in Speech- Language Pathology to be a speech therapist.

What does it take to be academically successful at Vanderbilt?
In order to be academically successful at Vanderbilt you must be able to find a balance between concentrating on academics and not obsessing over the outcomes.

How do you manage your demanding schedule?
I manage my schedule by writing everything in my planner. It allows me to prioritize what assignments I need to focus on, know when my team is traveling and recognize anything important that I have coming up.

What is your ritual before taking a test?
I am a big note-card maker. I like the act of writing out note-cards and being able to shuffle them around and study the material in different orders.

What is your favorite quote?
“People with a good sense of humor have a better sense of life”  – Unknown
