Carson Fulmer
Major: Interdisciplinary: Sociology of Management and Communications

Why did you choose to attend Vanderbilt?
For its great academic and athletic balance.

What are your career goals?
To play in the Major Leagues and then to be involved in the front office of a Major League Baseball Organization.

What does it take to be academically successful at Vanderbilt?
Staying organized and staying ahead on your classwork.

How do you manage your demanding schedule?
Planning out what needs to get done ahead of time, so that I am not rushed to finish an assignment or prepare for a test.

What is your ritual before taking a test?
I don’t have a specific ritual. I just want to make sure I know the material as best as possible.

What is your favorite quote?
“Every day is a new opportunity. You can build on yesterday’s success or put its failures behind and start over again. That’s the way life is, with a new game every day, and that’s the way baseball is.” – Bob Feller
