Why did you choose to attend Vanderbilt?
I chose to attend Vanderbilt because my parents wanted me to go to school away from the west coast and because Vanderbilt had the perfect combination of athletics and academics.

What are your career goals?
I would like to be a doctor.

What does it take to be academically successful at Vanderbilt?
I think it takes a sense of humor, time management, and passion for what you are studying.

How do you manage your demanding schedule?
I drink a lot of coffee.

What is your ritual before taking a test?
Studying? I don’t need a ritual because my mom says the rosary before every test I take.

What is your favorite quote?
“If you’re not first, you’re last.” -Ricky Bobby
