Why did you choose to attend Vanderbilt?
I chose Vanderbilt because of the unique integration of student-athletes with the rest of the student body, the strong academics, and the opportunity to compete in the SEC.

What are your career goals?
Currently I’m interning as an investment banking summer analyst, but I hope to use what I learn from working in the industry to someday start my own company.

What does it take to be academically successful at Vanderbilt?
You’ve heard it before- go to class and don’t procrastinate. It really will make it easier. I’ve taken both routes and cramming is never fun.

How do you manage your demanding schedule?
I’m actually more organized in the heart of swim season because it forces me to stay on top of everything. I’m a big list maker, so I like to organize anything I need to do in a list in the morning and try to cross most things off by the end of the day.

What is your ritual before taking a test?
I’d have to say I’ve often done most of my studying for exams only a day or two before, but going to class helps me keep up with the material. Get a good breakfast before an exam- best meal of the day.

What is your favorite quote?
“Winning isn’t everything, but wanting to win is.” – Vince Lombardi
