Why did you choose to attend Vanderbilt?
The great academics and athletics-it really is the best of both worlds.

What are your career goals?
I would like to ultimately be in some form of international humanitarian law. But prior to law school I would like to become a member of the Peace Corps and provide international aid.

What does it take to be academically successful at Vanderbilt?
Time management, focus, and determination. It is very easy to get distracted in a college environment so success comes from learning how to use your time effectively.

How do you manage your demanding schedule?
When I am not in practice, I am normally studying, and vice versa. I think it’s really important to dedicate yourself to being as efficient with your time as possible.

What is your ritual before taking a test?
I normally like to start getting my study guide ready a week before and really focusing on the material about three days prior. Right before the test, instead of cramming, I think it’s really important to just breathe and stay calm.

What is your favorite quote?
“We shall not cease from exploration, and the end of all our exploring will be to arrive
where we started and know the place for the first time.” T.S. Eliot
