BOYCOTTS AND THE OLYMPICS

Visiting Author Andrew Maraniss examine the role that boycotts, and the unsuccessful U.S. movement to boycott the 1936 Olympics in Berlin, have played in the Olympic movement as well as the role the ban on South Africa in athletic competition played in the demise of Apartheid.
The program is free and open to the public and light refreshments will be served. Paid parking is available in the 25th Avenue Garage at the corner of 25th Avenue South and Highland Avenue.
