There is a wide range of funding opportunities for Vanderbilt's researchers within the US federal government, as well as through foundations and other foreign governments, multilateral and non-profit institutions, and corporations.
Navigating funding announcements and opportunities and identifying which represent the best match can be challenging. While SPA generally does not seek funding opportunities for individual faculty members, this section of the website provides information on internal and external funding sources.
Dear Pivot user, Vanderbilt is transitioning our research funding opportunity database from ProQuest Pivot to InfoEd Global SPIN. You may now access SPIN here.
- Your access to Pivot will end on June 30, 2018 . Any saved searches you have in Pivot must be recreated in SPIN prior to this date.
SPIN database offers several advantages, which we are excited to introduce to the Vanderbilt community. This includes:
• More accurate information from searches
• More results due to a broader range of search options
• Vetted deadlines for request for proposals (RFPs) by InfoEd’s staff
For more information on establishing a SPIN profile and searching for funding opportunities, please see
this presentation
.

We look forward to providing you an enhanced database experience as a result of this change.
