Rothschild College
Opened in August 2022, Rothschild College is the fifth residential college to open in the West End Neighborhood.
Rothschild College also features a dining hall, great room, study lounges and a reservable Black Box Theater. Inaugural faculty head of Rothschild College, Associate Professor of Engineering Ravindra Duddu, will also reside in the college alongside his family.
Rothschild College is the next step in the expansion of the residential college system—a pillar of the Academic Strategic Plan representing vibrant living-learning communities that create transformative educational experiences for Vanderbilt students.
Signature Programs
Roth n’ Roll: Residents of Rothschild College will gather together each week to enjoy some sort of “rolled snack” and have lite conversations about life, food, music, and wellness.
Faculty Speakers: Each month, Professor Duddu invites a faculty guest to join the residents of Rothschild College in a discussion on a particular theme, ranging from business to art, innovation, education, and more.
