Graduate Student Worker
Laura Kindell recently graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University (IWU) with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a minor in Sociology. During her time at IWU, Laura had the privilege of running for the Women’s Track and Field team, working for the Residential Life department, and working as a barista at a local coffee shop. Laura is passionate about fostering safe spaces where people are seen, heard, valued, and empowered. Her desire to be a listener and an advocate for others led her to pursue a master’s degree in Human Development Counseling here at Vanderbilt. Laura is in her first year of the program and is on the Clinical Mental Health Counseling track. In her role as a Graduate Student Worker with Residential Colleges, she looks forward to supporting the holistic growth and well-being of students. In her free time, Laura enjoys reading books, spending time with friends, and running.
