Elizabeth Meadows

Faculty Head

East House

Elizabeth Meadows (she, her, hers) is the Associate Director of Vanderbilt’s Robert Penn Warren Center for the Humanities and Principal Senior Lecturer in the Department of English. At the Warren Center, Elizabeth develops undergraduate programming that connects humanities coursework to real-world experiences and issues. She’s an expert in community and student engagement, involving faculty, staff, and students in creative projects and collaborations with our campus and local community. Elizabeth, her husband Aaron Roston, their son Nicolas, and their dog Luna (the East Beast) are looking forward to building a community at East through sharing food, fellowship, and fun. At East, students will discover how living, working, and talking together can create transformative learning experiences as part of our daily lives.
