Chad Novak (he/him/his), a Michigan native, earned his B.A.A. in Recreation, Parks, and Leisure Services Administration from Central Michigan University and his M.Ed. in Higher Education from Grand Valley State University. Chad works on The Commons with first-year students and oversees The Commons Cup and End of Year Block Party. 

In his free time, Chad enjoys playing board games, painting, photography, and spending time with family and friends. He was also a competitive gymnast and is now an avid college gymnastics fan.
