General Overview:

The Office of the University Chaplain and Religious Life is partnering with the International Student and Scholar Services and the Interfaith Council to plan Vanderbilt’s interfaith spring break trip. The purpose of this trip will be to explore the meaning of faith between several religions through guided visits and explorations of religious sites and personal reflection. It is our goal that you walk away from this trip with a better understanding of religious faith (both your own and around the world) and a connection with different world religions.

The Vanderbilt Interfaith Spring Break will occur from Saturday, March 3, 2018 to Thursday, March 8, 2018. Accommodations will be provided by Hostelling International. We will be visiting several religious sites throughout the week, in addition to partaking in some cultural exploration around the nation’s capitol.

Costs:

Your payment will include room and board, ground transportation, all breakfast meals, two additional group meals, and access into the sites and tours. All other meals and personal shopping will be paid for by the individual student, outside of the trip cost.

The cost of the trip for each participant is $300. A NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of $150 will be due by December 8, 2017 and the remaining $150 will be due by February 2, 2018. Payments will only be taken after your application has been approved, and you have been accepted to join the trip. Acceptance emails will be sent out on November 29th.
