CampVandy promotes experiential learning through active programming for campers ages 5-13. The Rec’s Summer Day Camp is an opportunity for campers to learn lifelong skills and stay fit. Campers climb the rock wall, swim in the pool, play field games, participate in fitness classes, build arts and crafts and much more!

Camp sessions are Monday through Friday.

Camp Day: (9:15 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.)

Drop off between 8:45 - 9:15 a.m.
Dismissal between 4:15 - 4:45 p.m.

Before Care: (7:30 - 8:45 a.m.)

After Care: (4:45 - 6 p.m.)

Swim School Transfer: (4:30 - 5:20 p.m.)

Group lessons for beginner swimmers, return to After Care from 5:20 - 6 p.m.

Please note: Participants who register for swim transfers should not purchase After Care as it is included in the lesson cost. Lessons are held Monday - Thursday, with Fridays designated as make-up days in case of inclement weather.

June 4-8 Team Spirit Attend the CampVandy summer kick off week with Team Spirit! A week filled with Field Day fun, Pep Rally, Tennessee state pride activities, All Star game, Vanderbilt special guests and much much more!
June 11-15 Game Show Join us for Game Show Week at CampVandy! Participate in camp-wide competitions, scavenger hunts, obstacle courses, pool canoe battleship, and more!
June 18-22 Safari Adventure

Are you ready for an Adventure? Safari Adventure is a week full of field trips across campus, crate stacking, a visit from the zoo, animal masks, s'mores and more!

June 25-29 Science & Space Experiments galore! Egg drop, greasy watermelon relays, VandyRec Saber Wars, create your own space gak, camp-wide Space Jam and more!
July 2-6 (no camp July 4) Holiday Join us for your favorite Holiday celebration! Independence Day, Christmas in July, Summer Halloween and Easter Egg Drop!
July 9-13 Island Paradise CampVandy's Waterweek! Join us during one of the hottest weeks of the summer for a Hawaiian luau, carnival games, pool races, slip and slide, Wildlife on wheels, a visit from the zoo, and more!
July 16-20 Superhero It’s a bird, it's a plane, it's Superhero week at CampVandy! Campers will fly inside the fieldhouse, defeat the rock wall, meet real life and fictional heroes, and act out their own superhero story!
July 23-27 Vandy Olympics Make your own medal, learn new activities, play an Olympic sport, and bond with your fellow campers! Board games, camp-wide foosball, real-life Mario cart, and much more!
July 31-August 3 CampVandy's Got Talent Are you a VandyStar?? Wrap up the summer with our CampVandy's Got Talent show, make your own dance video, meet Vanderbilt special guests, dancing, music, and more!

To register for CampVandy, a parent/guardian is required to select his/her child from his/her profile. Step by step directions, which detail  how to add a child to your profile  and  how to register for camp , are available in our   How to Register your Child for CampVandy  guide.



Cancellation, Refunds, and Transfers

  • Full payment is due online at the time of registration.
  • A camper’s account is refunded for all cancellations that occur at least 1 week prior to the registered camp week, minus a $50 deposit which is included in the weekly fee and is non-refundable. Cancellations that occur with less than (1) week's notice will not be refunded. Refunds are not provided for lack of participation or non-attendance. No refunds or adjustments are granted for illness, vacation, cancellation or other personal commitments. No refunds will be issued for suspension from CampVandy based on severe camper violations and/or unacceptable and uncorrected behaviors.
  • Before care and aftercare cannot be carried over and will not be refunded for non-use.
  • In order to transfer registration from one week of camp to another, parents/guardians must contact Refund policies apply to all transfers that are not completed by CampVandy staff.
