Meet the Trainers

Alyson Dickson

Alyson is an AFAA certified personal trainer and group fitness instructor. She has specialized training in group strength training and indoor cycling. After a lifetime of struggle with health and exercise, peaking in graduate school, Alyson began exercising regularly through at VRWC program. Eventually, she discovered that this was her true calling and pursued fitness professionally. She has competed in sprint and Olympic distance triathlons since 2010 and completed her third Tough Madder in the fall of 2016. Alyson enjoys trail running, cycling, and core training. 

Approach: To help clients achieve the greatest possible fitness level for themselves, based on the time and any other limitations they face. Performance goals can be valuable, but I primarily focus on well-rounded fitness – strength, stamina, flexibility, agility, and balance – in my sessions. Also, I’ll probably try to make you laugh, even as you sweat.

Availability: Alyson’s schedule is flexible – early mornings and afternoons tend to be limited, but she is willing to work with you to find a viable meeting time.




Johnny Pryor

“I have been training clients for over 20 years and am passionate about all things fitness and nutrition. I am currently on a raw food regimen and travel Nashville using my single speed bike. I have also amassed a nice collection of Civil War era relics since moving to Tennessee.”

Approach: Johnny not only teaches our Boot camp classes but it our major sports performance trainer here. If you are looking for the next step in your training Johnny is the trainer for you.

Availability: Johnny’s schedule is flexible. He schedules he sessions weekly with his clients.

Tramaine is a Tennessee based trainer with over 10 years of experience helping individuals of all ages and sizes achieve their maximized health, lifestyle, and fitness goals. His biggest strength is the ability to connect with clients and to motivate their continued progress. By devoting his time, clients return respect by giving their all. This natural charisma and diverse set of acquired knowledge through his own past involvement in fitness causes Tramaine to be in high demand. Mothers, entertainers, athletes, and professionals alike all agree that Tramaine offers more than just a workout.

Availability: Tramaine does teach our Boxing Clinics but is otherwise available for midday and night training sessions.
