Art Governance Committee

Charge:

The Art Governance Committee is charged with identifying, documenting, and assessing current governance mechanisms and structures for art acquisition, deaccessions, inventory, and display. The committee will design institutionally appropriate structures to facilitate such work for implementation in 2019-20.

  • Jana Harper, associate professor of the practice, studio art, College of Arts and Science
  • David Perkins, associate director, religion in the arts and contemporary culture, Divinity School
  • Betsey Robinson, associate professor, history of art, College of Arts and Science
  • Douglas Shadle, assistant professor, musicology, Blair School of Music
  • Celia Walker, assistant university librarian for assessment, communication, and engagement, Jean and Alexander Heard Libraries
  • Christoph Zeller, associate professor, German and European studies; faculty head of house, College of Arts and Science
