Design Workshop, January 24-25, 2005

We have been guided by a strategic plan that identifies our institution’s newfound and historic strengths, its opportunities for the future, and its important weaknesses that require attention through changes in culture, structure, and investment. Our confidence in that strategic plan and directions continues, but the most effective planning is an ongoing process. There is much to be said for gathering together from time to time to recommit ourselves to our goals and objectives, to reconsider the means by which we will obtain them, and to bring into the conversation the voices of those among us who have arrived only relatively recently.
