Applications are invited for a postdoctoral research fellowship in the Mood, Emotion, and Development Lab (PI: Autumn Kujawa, Ph.D.) at Vanderbilt University (https://my.vanderbilt.edu/medlab/). This position offers the opportunity to contribute to multiple grant-funded longitudinal studies of depression and related conditions, including a study of neural predictors of adolescent suicidal thoughts and behaviors and a program of research examining neurobiological and psychosocial changes across peripartum in relation to depression risk and infant/child outcomes.

Applications are invited for a postdoctoral research fellowship in the Mood, Emotion, and Development Lab (PI: Autumn Kujawa, Ph.D.) at Vanderbilt University (https://my.vanderbilt.edu/medlab/). This position offers the opportunity to contribute to multiple grant-funded longitudinal studies of depression and related conditions, including a study of neural predictors of adolescent suicidal thoughts and behaviors and a program of research examining neurobiological and psychosocial changes across peripartum in relation to depression risk and infant/child outcomes. Opportunities include training in multiple research methods (e.g., EEG/ERP and ecological momentary assessment) across development, obtaining supervised clinical hours, writing manuscripts using existing data, travel support for conference presentations, and writing mentored grant proposals. In addition, the postdoctoral fellow will have the opportunity to collaborate with researchers at Vanderbilt University/Vanderbilt University Medical Center (including Drs. Kathryn Humphreys, Alex Bettis, and Meg Benningfield) and other institutions. 

Competitive candidates will have a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology (or a related field, including Developmental Psychology or Neuroscience) with a strong record of publications and presentations. Ideal candidates should be highly motivated to publish first-author papers, possess strong statistical and problem-solving skills, and work well in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Interest or experience in clinical neuroscience (e.g., fMRI, EEG/ERP) and working with children and adolescents is preferred but not required.
