Position Detail

Structural Biology Postdoc Position!

Biochemistry & Pharmacology

Greetings! My Lab has an open, funded postdoc position to study how 2nd messenger signaling molecules alter the structure of nuclear receptor transcription factors.

We recently used integrated biophysical techniques to determine the unliganded, ground-state structure of a full-length nuclear receptor bound to DNA. We now want to add regulatory ligands to this ground state to determine how activating or repressing small molecules (drugs and physiological ligands) alter the structure of this protein.

The ideal candidate will need to have an interest in helping others in the lab and have skills in structural biology, protein expression/purification, X-ray crystallography and/or SAXS.

If you're doubting your fit, I encourage you to apply! I have many projects in structural biology, genomics and drug design/screening you might be a great fit for... If you don't ask, you don't get!

Thank you!
