We are currently seeking a postdoctoral fellow in biomedical data science to join our research group in the department of Biostatistics at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. This position is mainly focused on the Causal Effect Estimation of Regulatory Molecules; however, the postdoctoral fellow will have the flexibility to participate in other projects of AA Lab or pursue projects broadly in biomedical data science. The three key skills required for these projects are statistics, programming, and a basic understanding of genetics. Dr. Amir Asiaee seeks to hire a postdoctoral fellow in biomedical data science to join his research group at Vanderbilt. This position is mainly focused on the Causal Effect Estimation of Regulatory Molecules. Still, the postdoctoral fellow will have the flexibility to participate in other projects of AA Lab or pursue projects broadly in biomedical data science. The three key skills required for these projects are statistics, programming, and a basic understanding of genetics. Dr. Asiaee's research focuses on the applications of machine learning and causal inference/discovery methods in biomedicine. His research group is also focused on open science, reproducibility, and collaborative work with clinicians. The candidate should hold a Ph.D. in computational biology, computer science, bio/statistics, bioinformatics, or related fields.
