The Vanderbilt University Medical Center Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences is seeking to hire a full-time Postdoctoral Fellow to support ongoing clinical research efforts in pediatric suicide risk detection and intervention. The postdoctoral fellow will assist in ongoing Department initiatives to improve suicide risk assessment and intervention in the pediatric emergency room and psychiatric hospital settings at VUMC. The postdoctoral fellow will also assist with NIMH and foundation supported projects focused on adolescent suicide risk detection and intervention development to support parents and families of adolescents at risk for suicide. The postdoctoral fellow will be expected to conduct clinical risk assessments, support clinical training initiatives, participate in recruitment, data collection, and analysis for ongoing research projects, supervise undergraduates and medical students, prepare manuscripts for peer-review publication, and assist with grant proposals. Clinical supervision and research mentorship will be provided by Alex Bettis, PhD, Meg Benningfield, MD, and Allyson Cundiff, MD. |
