The BRAINS Lab in the Department of Psychology at Vanderbilt University seeks applicants for a postdoctoral researcher position. The lab’s research program focuses on understanding the neurobiological mechanisms that contribute to the etiology of internalizing disorders. The lab integrates multimodal measures such as functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI), cerebral blood flow, brain anatomy, psychophysiology (e.g., electroencephalography (EEG), startle blink, skin conductance), and behavior to develop a comprehensive understanding of the basic mechanisms underlying anxiety and depressive disorders.

The postdoc will also supervise undergraduate and graduate students/volunteers and research staff, contribute to the design and execution of funded studies, and conduct clinical interviews/assessments.
