Postdoctoral Researcher in Computational Systems Neuroscience We are recruiting a motivated postdoctoral researcher to join our lab. The successful applicant will be supervised by Mika Rubinov (Vanderbilt University) and Misha Ahrens (Janelia Research Campus) and will primarily focus on analysis and modeling of whole-brain cell-resolution calcium-imaging data in behaving zebrafish. The position will be based in the Rubinov Lab at Vanderbilt University, but there will be close engagement and participation in research of the Ahrens Lab at Janelia.

We are recruiting a motivated postdoctoral researcher to join our lab. The successful applicant will be supervised by Mika Rubinov (Vanderbilt University) and Misha Ahrens (Janelia Research Campus) and will primarily focus on analysis and modeling of whole-brain cell-resolution calcium-imaging data in behaving zebrafish. The position will be based in the Rubinov Lab at Vanderbilt University, but there will be close engagement and participation in research of the Ahrens Lab at Janelia.

The successful applicant should have a strong background in computational neuroscience or an allied quantitative discipline, including but not limited to network science, computational biology, mathematics, physics, computer science, or electrical engineering. Preference will be given to applicants with a good publication record and with experience in analysis of large and complex datasets.

The applicant must have completed their PhD by the start of this position. The position will be initially for one year, with typical possibility for yearly extensions subject to satisfactory annual reviews. The salary will be commensurate with the applicant’s experience and qualifications.
