Position Detail

This position will support research and technology development for image-guided ultrasound neuromodulation and drug delivery. The candidate will integrate with a research team comprised of neuroscience, MRI and ultrasound experts. We are seeking an individual with a Ph.D. in a relevant discipline (biomedical engineering, physics, neuroscience). Prior experience in imaging research is not required. Experience with image processing, computer programming, and electronics laboratory tools desirable.

The Laboratory of Acoustic Therapy and Imaging at the Vanderbilt University Institute of Imaging Science at Vanderbilt University Medical Center seeks to hire a Postdoctoral Fellow in the area of ultrasound. VUIIS is a leading interdisciplinary institute with a strong neuroimaging program. This position will support research and technology development for image-guided ultrasound neuromodulation and drug delivery. The candidate will integrate with a research team comprised of neuroscience, MRI and ultrasound experts.
