A postdoctoral position is available to study the development of cognitive functions in adolescence and changes tat occur in old age. The research seeks to understand the neurophysiology of the prefrontal cortex as it underlies working memory and response inhibition abilities in adolescence and adulthood. The project involves designing and performing behavioral, neurophysiological, and MRI imaging experiments in non-human primates. Both junior applicants, having newly completed their PhD, and more senior postdocs will be considered. A Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering, Neuroscience, Psychology, or equivalent is required. We will consider outstanding candidates that have a strong background and interests in the computational analysis of neurophysiological data, MR imaging and/or animal training. Candidates with experience in the MATLAB and/or Python programming environments will be preferred. |
