Position Detail

Postdoctoral position available to study neural basis of cognitive functions. The project focuses on analysis of spiking activity and local field potentials obtained through intracranial recordings.

Biomedical Engineering

A postdoctoral position is available to study the neural basis of cognitive functions. The research seeks to understand the neurophysiology of the prefrontal cortex as it underlies working memory and response inhibition abilities in adolescence and adulthood. The project involves analysis of spiking activity and local field potentials obtained by intracranial recordings in animal models. A Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering, Neuroscience, Psychology, or equivalent is required. We will consider outstanding candidates that have a strong background and interests in the computational analysis of neurophysiological data. Candidates with experience in the MATLAB and/or Python programming environments will be preferred.

Applicants should send a cover letter, CV and the names/contact information for 3 references by email to Christos Constantinidis, PhD (chrisct98@gmail.com).
