A postdoctoral position is immediately available for a highly motivated, dynamic and energetic Ph.D. or M.D., Ph.D., to study the molecular determinants of lung cancer development in different model systems in vitro, preclinical models and humans in the Massion lab. A successful applicant will assume a major scientific part in a multidisciplinary project aimed at investigating the role of metabolic reprogramming, genomic instability and immune microenvironment to promote lung tumorigenesis. The candidate will benefit from access to a large and fully annotated biorepository of airway and blood specimens. A strong background in Cancer Biology, Computational Biology or Biochemistry is preferred. Candidate is expected to be able to conduct research independently, and willing to work in a team environment. Successful applicants will participate in collaborative research with laboratories in and outside Vanderbilt University Medical Center. |
