Position Detail

Postdoctoral position to study mechanisms of vesicular transport

Biological Sciences

The Graham laboratory is seeking a postdoctoral scholar to study mechanisms of vesicle-mediated protein transport between the Golgi and endosomal system. These trafficking pathways play important roles in diabetes-related processes, cancer biology, and neurodegenerative diseases. The specific goals are to define the role of cargo ubiquitylation on protein sorting into COPI-coated transport vesicles. See Xu et al. (2017) Elife 6:e28342 for an example of these studies,

The successful candidate will have a strong background in molecular genetics, cell biological, or biochemical approaches to solving challenging biological problems.

Salary is commensurate with experience and is defined by current NIH salary scales. To apply, please send a cover letter describing your interest in this position, a detailed CV, and arrange to have three letters of recommendation sent to Todd Graham.
