The Reinhart-King Lab at Vanderbilt is seeking enthusiastic postdoctoral associates interested in studying tumor progression. Our focus is on using in vitro systems to mimic the tumor microenvironment to study how cells behave as a function of chemical and mechanical changes to the microenvironment. Members of the lab come from diverse disciplines and backgrounds with diverse skills. Experience with cell culture is required, and skills in mouse models, cell and molecular biology, mechanics and/or micro fabrication are desired but absolutely not required. The lab is well-funded through NIH and NSF, and the lab has a successful track record of mentoring and fellowships for students and postdocs. |
