The Reinhart-King Laboratory at Vanderbilt University is seeking a postdoctoral associate in the area of matrix biology. The lab is broadly interested in how cells sense and respond to mechanical cues during disease progression with a specific focus on cancer, atherosclerosis and diabetes. Candidates should have a PhD in biomedical engineering, cell biology, biophysics, or similar fields. Desirable (but not required) skills include cell culture, microscopy, microfabrication, mouse experience, scaffold design and characterization and/or molecular biology. Position to start as soon as possible. |
