Post-doctoral Researcher in Data Sciences for Educational Environments

The Open Ended Learning Environments research group at the Institute for Software Integrated Systems (ISIS) and the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Vanderbilt University has an opening for a post-doctoral researcher who will be supported by grants from the National Science Foundation and the Army Research Labs. In particular, this position will involve research in data analytics and data mining methods applied to performance and behavioral data generated from a number of Open Ended Learning Environments (OELEs) that include the: (1) Betty’s Brain, (2) LandNav and GIFT, and (3) C2STEM learning environments. Some of these projects involve collaborations with faculty at the Peabody School of Education at Vanderbilt. |

The post-doctoral fellowship includes an initial salary of at least $75,000 per year plus health insurance coverage and support for professional travel.
