Postdoctoral Fellow Position to study the roles of mechanical signaling pathways in cancer and wound healing.
Otolaryngology | |
There is an immediate opening for a postdoctoral fellow to study the roles of mechanical signaling pathways in cancer and possibly in another project concerning wound healing. We are an interdisciplinary laboratory focused on understanding the mechanobiology of cancer cell invasion and fibroblast activity during wound repair. Our work combines engineering and biological approaches that include in vitro, in silico, and in vivo techniques and models. The applicant should have a PhD degree with a background in cancer biology, cell/molecular biology, bioengineering, or a related field. Prior experience with molecular and cell biology methods including microscopy is srongly preferred. |
